Growing up as one of fifteen children on Long Island, New York, I had to work hard to get ahead.  I also learned the importance of standing up for my rights.  I've been in the construction industry for over 25 years, and have done business in the areas of real estate, finance, auctioneering, demolition, recycling, and waste. In 1995 my wife, Emily, and I moved to her home state of Minnesota, becoming homeowners in Ramsey the following year.  We've built our life here and are proud parents of a PACT Charter School student.

In preparation for becoming an effective City Council member, I've spent the last 2½ years attending Ramsey Work Sessions, the majority of the City Council Meetings, Budget Meetings, Planning Commission Meetings, Public Works Meetings, and more.  I was appointed to the Ramsey3 Working Group that crafted "VISION and VALUES for Ramsey's Comprehensive Plan." This further fueled my passion for bringing reality back to Ramsey.

I have been a business owner for much of my adult life, and through this have learned that when the current situation changes, tough decisions need to be made, and the necessary actions taken. Ramsey has plenty of employees that know how city government operates. What Ramsey needs, is business-minded critical thinkers that have experience identifying and overcoming problems. If I am elected, the city will benefit from my business experience which includes an education from the number one business coaching firm in the world.  [Upon completion of my business coaching education, I was offered a position with Action International as a business coach to help other companies reach their potential.] 

My background has prepared me to stand up for Ramsey residents and to help break the city's habit of moving forward on a vision before doing a reality check.  I will bring a fresh perspective to the city council, along with the determination and confidence to make things happen.
